We know the news moves quickly these days, and with so much to keep track of we wanted to make sure you didn't miss this:

NYT- Florida court allows 6 week abortion ban, but Voters will get to weigh in

Earlier this week, the Florida Supreme Court ruled that an initiative protecting reproductive rights can stay on the ballot this November — but also upheld Ron DeSantis’s cruel and unjust 6-week abortion ban, which is now set to take effect in less than 30 days.

Make no mistake about it: This ruling in Florida is only possible because Donald Trump and his far-right Supreme Court justices overturned Roe, and is just the latest in a long line of Republican efforts to undermine reproductive freedoms and ban abortion nationwide since Roe fell.

As a result of Trump successfully overturning Roe, abortion access is illegal or limited in more than half the country. IVF and even contraceptive access have been put at risk. And if Trump and his Republican Party have their way by taking control of the White House and Senate this November, we're potentially facing a nationwide federal ban on abortion.

It’s on us to do everything we can to defend the right to choose, protect bodily autonomy and codify reproductive freedom for all into law — and that starts with electing as many common-sense, pro-choice Democrats as we possibly can.

That's why we're asking:

Republicans have repeatedly shown the lengths they're willing to go to to undermine our constitutional rights and drag our country back to a time that should be left long in the past.

Abortion rights are literally on the ballot this November, not just in Florida but across the entire country. That's why it's going to take ALL of us coming together to defend our majority and restore reproductive rights for all.
