or right thing — say, “This country is not worth fighting for.”

“This system is not worth participating in. We’re just going to sit here,
and stay home, and grovel in depression.”

any sort of narrative or story where we do not have power in our own

There’s nothing to be scared of in guaranteeing healthcare to everybody in
this country. There’s nothing to be scared of in a living wage. There’s
nothing to be scared of in guaranteeing tuition free public colleges and
universities.

This is a future not to be scared of. What would happen if we won?

We have to reject the politics of scarcity. We have to reject the politics
of fear.

We’re going to go after — and get — what we want because we deserve it.

Everyday people deserve a livable future. Period.
