Harvard University recently hosted Jared Kushner at an event for the Harvard Kennedy School's Middle East Initiative where he made a series of irresponsible, dehumanizing, and inflammatory remarks about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict that have no place being amplified by a respected academic institution like Harvard.

In his comments, Kushner casually suggested forcibly relocating millions of Palestinians and "cleaning up" the Gaza Strip as if discussing a real estate deal, calling Gaza "valuable waterfront property." He callously stated that a Palestinian state would be a "super bad idea" that rewards terrorism, equating all Palestinians with the appalling actions of Hamas.

These views are not just hateful and bigoted -- they are factually wrong and historically ignorant.

By platforming Kushner and broadcasting his reprehensible views to a wide audience, Harvard is complicit in moving the discourse around the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in a more extreme and destructive direction.

For the sake of truth, justice, and peace, call on Harvard to do the right thing and take down the Jared Kushner interview immediately.

Amplifying Jared Kushner's disgusting views is a betrayal of those values. Harvard must immediately take down the video of Kushner's interview, issue a statement condemning his remarks, and commit to more carefully vetting speakers to ensure views like his are not given a prestigious platform again in the future.

Anything less makes Harvard complicit in the further oppression and dehumanization of the Palestinian people.
