It probably won’t surprise you given our name, but we think that the Citizens United ruling is one of the worst Supreme Court rulings in American history. Citizens United and the following influx of massive campaign spending by corporations, special interest groups, and wealthy individuals changed the way our elections function for the worse. Our democracy favors the select few who write big checks and leaves everyone else behind, all due to the Citizens United decision fourteen years ago.

Our elections need to work for everyday Americans, not just for billionaires and megadonors who write the biggest checks.
