Get ready for robots to be serving $20 burgers and fries at
McDonald's thanks to the corrupt Gavin Newsom, Democrat politicians,
and the special interests that own them.
Starting this week, Democrats mandated fast-food restaurants to pay
a 25% wage increase. In line with their corruption, Panera
Bread was given an exemption thanks to the owner’s generous
donations to Gavin Newsom.
As predicted, this corrupt mandate backfired and workers are now
making less money, not more, with mass layoffs and a reduction of
hours.
Restaurants are scrambling to survive by replacing workers with
automation and slashing operating hours, with some even considering
closing altogether.
Of course, the costs of the Democrats’ corruption will be passed
onto you, the consumer, in the form of higher prices at restaurants
that are notorious for being cheap and fast. McDonald's, Chipotle, and
Jack in the Box already announced
price increases. Pizza Hut laid off thousands
of delivery drivers.
My job at Domino’s got me through college. Sadly, I don’t know if
the job I had back then would even still exist today.
The corrupt law went into effect just days after California was
ranked #1
in the country for unemployment.
Perhaps this was their plan all along – take the jobs away from the
working class and replace them with automation. Democrats are on a
mission to widen the gap between the haves and have-nots. We can’t let
them get away with this.
We’re fighting back against the corrupt supermajority Democrat
establishment that’s bought out by special interests. Unlike them,
Senate Republicans are continuously underfunded
because we refuse to be complicit in the Democrats’ corrupt law-making
like the fast-food bill.
