Johh — The availability of safe, science-backed drugs should not be up to the courts, but that hasn't stopped anti-abortion extremists from trying their hardest.
Last week, oral arguments began at the Supreme Court to decide the availability of the abortion pill. Mifepristone has been approved by the FDA for more than two decades and has shown to be a safe, effective method that has helped thousands of people access abortion.
No matter their decision, we already know how conservative this SCOTUS has been with their recent decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. Abortion isn't safe until we codify it. That's why Diana and her pro-choice Democratic colleagues in the House will continue to fight until everyone has the right to safe and accessible abortions.
