The world looked very different when the Drug Policy Alliance completed our most recent annual report. We hope that you and your loved ones are safe and well.

The COVID-19 pandemic reminds us that we are all human, we are all vulnerable, and we are all in this together. The Drug Policy Alliance, for our part, is adapting to meet today’s extraordinary challenges, as we expect the current coronavirus pandemic to have a dire, disproportionate impact on the people we serve in our mission to end the war on drugs.

In this moment, the senselessness and cruelty of the drug war have never been more stark, and our obligation to those we serve never more profound. Our goals have not changed, but the specifics of our immediate work surely will. Through it all, we remain guided by a deep commitment to our core values of science, compassion, health, and human rights.

Thank you for standing with us. We would not have been able to achieve all that we did last year, nor would we be able to step up in this moment of crisis, without you.
