Friend,
According to U.S. Department of Health and Human Services statistics,
there are 62.1 million Latinos living in the United States, making up
nearly 20 percent of the U.S. population, yet Latinos serve in less than 2
percent of elected positions. To address this inequality, Latino Victory
is executing a key strategic initiative focused on addressing the barriers
Latinos face when running for office and building the pipeline of Latino
candidates - Path to Victory.
Last weekend, we hosted Path to Victory in New York! The two-day training
program prepares current and potential candidates, as well as staff to run
successful campaigns. Participants learned the foundations of campaign
management and what it takes to become a successful leader— from
developing a campaign plan, crafting their pitch, managing staff and
volunteers, and building a fundraising base. We trained nearly 100
candidates in 2023, and it is our mission to double that number this year.

Path to Victory is just one initiative Latino Victory is working on to
increase Latino representation. As we look towards the future, it’s
important that we continue to build the bench of Latino/a/e elected
officials – from the Oval Office to our local races.
Latino Victory is moving full steam ahead with its effort to increase
political representation of all Latinos on the ballot because
representation matters. But we can’t do it without your support! [ [link removed] ]Chip
in today to ensure more Latino candidates have the support they need to
run for office!
Thank you,
