I'm thankful for my wife, Connie, our kids and grandkids, and our two rescue dogs – Franklin and Walter. I'm thankful for the good people of Ohio, who have given me the honor of representing them in the Senate. And I'm thankful to you, Friend, for joining me in this ongoing fight to protect the Dignity of Work and build a brighter future for all Americans. 

But the truth is, if it were up to Mitch McConnell and Donald Trump, this year would be my last in the Senate. With our Democratic majority on the line, we cannot let that happen. But I need your help.

I grew up in Mansfield, Ohio and went to school with the sons and daughters of ironworkers, carpenters, auto workers, and electricians.

I've spent my life fighting for the Dignity of Work – the belief that hard work should pay off for everyone, no matter who you are, where you live, or what kind of work you do.

But while I'm fighting for workers and families in the Senate, my Trump-endorsed opponent Bernie Moreno is writing himself million-dollar checks and holding lavish Mar-a-Lago fundraisers to try and buy this seat.

With the general election in full swing, we need to fight back now, or we risk falling behind and putting this seat and our Senate majority in danger.
