Let's make something clear: Matt Gaetz, Donald Trump, and the Republicans who are looking to flip this seat are putting forward a bleak agenda for Virginians.

They want to pass a national abortion ban that would strip rights and freedoms from millions of Americans. Eugene will vote to guarantee the right to abortion in every state in this country.

They refuse to take any actions to keep dangerous weapons of war that are used in mass shootings off our streets. Eugene will work to pass common sense gun control legislation to protect our communities.

They want to delegitimize and cast doubt on free and fair elections while making it harder for people to vote. Eugene will fight to protect our democracy from the far-right and expand access to the ballot box.
