 Dear Puget Sound recovery community,?
We?re only one month away from 2024 Puget Sound Day on the Hill (May 13-17). Don?t miss out?REGISTER BY FRIDAY, APRIL 12 in order to secure the discounted hotel group rate! We?re looking forward to gathering with our partners in Washington, D.C., to make the case for continued federal attention and investment in Puget Sound recovery.
From Tribes to ports, state agencies to local governments, businesses to NGOs, it?s the diverse breadth of Puget Sound recovery supporters that show up to make Puget Sound Day on the Hill such a compelling and effective event. If you can join us, please click here to register!
This year, we plan to meet with members of Congress, congressional staff, executive office officials, and federal agency leaders to emphasize that we must hold ground on recent wins and prevent any whittling away of our hard-won progress. We?ll also share recommendations about getting recent federal investments out to key projects as quickly and efficiently as possible. Detailed agenda coming soon for those who register?we hope you can join us.
In the meantime, please check out our letters outlining priority federal appropriations for next year. Thanks to all who signed on?the letters will be delivered to the appropriate House and Senate Appropriations subcommittees this week.
Best,
Laura and Justin
