[ ]J Street[ ]
Friends,
This Sunday marks six months since the horrific attacks of October 7. Six
months of unbearable anguish and heartbreak for the loved ones of over 100
hostages taken by Hamas and still being held in captivity.
This Sunday, members of the J Street community are joining the Hostages
and Missing Families Forum, UnXeptable, and organizations from across the
Jewish community to come together to mark this tragic anniversary.
Together, we'll continue the urgent call to bring them all home now – and
we'd deeply appreciate it if you could join us.
First, at 1:30pm, join UnXeptable's weekly rally outside the American Red
Cross headquarters at 17th and E St, NW. It will feature Rabbi Esther
Lederman, Peter Beinart, Rotem Oreg, and musician Aaron Shneyer. You can
sign up for updates on their Facebook page [ [link removed] ]here.
Then, at 2:30pm, the Hostages and Missing Families Forum is holding a
march and rally on the National Mall. Meet at the Washington Monument at
2:30pm to march to the main event at the Lincoln Memorial at 3:30pm.
In solidarity,
Tamar Ariel
Director for Capital, South & Mountain West

J Street is the political home for pro-Israel, pro-peace, pro-democracy
Americans who want Israel to be secure, democratic and the national home of the
Jewish people. Working in American politics and the Jewish community, we
advocate policies that advance shared US and Israeli interests as well as Jewish
and democratic values, leading to a two-state solution to the
Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
