John, it’s Whitney, Abigail’s Finance Director.

I hope everyone who celebrated with family this weekend enjoyed a delightful Easter! I was happy to take some time to relax, spend time with my family, and enjoy the Virginia outdoors with my family.

Sunday also marked the end of our fundraising quarter, and I was happy to report to the rest of our team that we exceeded our March fundraising goal.

Now, as we look ahead to April, we’re focused on having an even stronger fundraising quarter, and we need your support to begin on a positive note. At the end of this fundraising quarter, we’ll report our numbers for all to see, and it’s incredibly important we show the true strength of our network.

While I know it might seem early, we have a lot of work to do to lay the foundation for our campaign — including hiring more staff, canvassing, connecting with voters, and building up our infrastructure for 2025 (and using it to make sure we win up and down the ballot in 2024!).

Abigail has always faced close races in the past, but this race will be different. She’s running to represent the entire Commonwealth of Virginia, and it takes resources to visit every corner of Virginia and listen directly to as many voters as possible.

All these important aspects of our campaign depend on early investments from people like you!
