[1]Justice Democrats
Hi John, I wanted you to hear the
news from me: [ [link removed] ]I’m officially running for re-election to represent
Massachusetts’ 7th District.
When I first ran for Congress in 2018, some folks cynically said nothing
would change. That a Democrat is a Democrat. That I had nothing to offer
and that our movement was fleeting. But starting with Election Night in
2018, we’ve proved the pundits wrong — we have made history together.
“What has changed” they ask? Everything.
Together, our A-Team has…
* Organized for student debt cancellation and pressed the Biden-Harris
administration to enact this policy — and so far $138 billion has been
canceled. And we’re not stopping there. We’re going to keep fighting
for broad-based student debt cancellation for all borrowers.
* Brought home millions of dollars of federal funding — to build more
affordable housing, to fund fare-free buses, to pilot free college
programs, to build safe bike lanes, and more. Oh, and when
conservatives recently stripped funding for LGBTQ+ senior housing in
our district, we fought back and we got that funding reinstated.
* Advocated for justice for the people, from protesting on the steps of
the Capitol to stop the expiration of the eviction moratorium during
COVID-19, to calling for an immediate ceasefire to save lives and
return hostages in Gaza.
This is the kind of change we can make when the people closest to the pain
are closest to the power, driving and informing policy-making. We CAN
continue to build a future where working one job is enough, bodily
autonomy is a human right, homeownership is within reach, and policies are
rooted in humanity and love — but only if we keep fighting.
[ [link removed] ]So John, I’m asking you to
invest in this fight by splitting a contribution of $5 or
anything you can to support my re-election campaign and Justice Democrats.
We rely on small-dollar donations to do this work, and your support will
ensure that we can keep fighting for progressive policies together. Thank
you.

Six years ago, this team elected the first Black woman and first person of
color to represent Massachusetts in Congress — but this movement is about
so much more than that.
I told this team that if you sent me to Washington, I wasn’t going alone.
I was bringing all of you with me. You all are my teachers, my partners,
and my accomplices. The issues that you care about are the issues I fight
for.
By investing in our campaign, you are affirming the dignity and worth of
every person who has been left out and left behind.
You are sending a message that corporate interests should never win over
working people.
You’re affirming that abortion is health care.
That a college education should move us forward, not set us back.
That Black men deserve to grow old.
That you believe that all of our children deserve a future — whether
they’re in Massachusetts, Gaza, or Haiti.
That this movement is STRONG.
I love the Massachusetts 7th district.
[ [link removed] ]It is an honor to represent the people of the Massachusetts 7th, and
this movement, in Congress. If you can, please split a donation of
$5 or anything you can to support my re-election campaign
and Justice Democrats during this important moment.
Your Congresswoman,
Ayanna
