When our veterans come home, they deserve confidence that they can rely on their elected representatives for support.
With this goal in mind, our office recently hosted our first Veterans’ Resource Fair in Elk River. During the event, attendees heard from our legislative and casework teams on current legislation and resources to support our veterans. We were also joined by representatives from the Sherburne County Veterans Service Office, the Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs, and the VFW Post 425 who provided updates on the services their organizations provide for veterans.
Events like this allow our office to connect with veterans and share legislative updates and casework resources. If you were unable to attend this event, don’t worry, this was the first in a series of veterans events our office is planning to host throughout the Sixth District in the coming months. If you would like to participate in future veterans events, please fill out the brief questionnaire below.
Are you a veteran (or member of a military family) interested in attending future veterans events in the Sixth District?
If you were unable to attend last week’s event and need assistance with a federal agency, like the Department of Veterans Affairs, you can always reach out to our casework team by calling (763) 241-6848, visiting our District Office in Otsego or visiting our website.
Our office will continue our work to put veterans and their families first.
Sincerely,
Washington, DC Office 464 Cannon House Office Building Washington, DC 20515 Phone: (202) 225-2331
