April is the Month of the Military Child, a time to celebrate the youngest members of our military community.
Though they don’t wear uniforms, there are 1.6 million U.S. military children making unique sacrifices to serve our country right now. Not only are they relocating every two to three years — but their parents on active duty can also suddenly deploy for months or years at a time.
The USO works tirelessly to support all those who serve in the U.S. military and their families — including our youngest heroes, military kids. But we rely on Americans like you to power this important work. In honor of Month of the Military Child, we set a goal to raise $50,000 by midnight tomorrow, so please: Will you donate $29 or more now to support military kids, service members and their families?
We support military children by providing them a home-away-from-home at USO Centers around the world, helping them connect with deployed parents through the USO Reading Program and giving them a chance to meet some of their biggest heroes at special USO Entertainment events.
We’re so grateful for the generosity of supporters like you who help make these essential programs for military kids possible, along with everything else we do to support service members and their families. In honor of Month of the Military Child, we hope you can help us further support our young heroes and their families with a gift today.
Please: Will you donate $29 or more now to help the USO reach our goal ahead of our midnight deadline tomorrow to support military kids, service members and their families?
Thank you for supporting all of those who serve,
—The USO
