"Farm Bill still not close to passage"

"The holdup has been the lack of movement in the Republican-controlled House. Lawmakers have been waiting for a budget to be passed so revenue numbers could be decided. Then there were threats of a government shutdown. It’s a situation one member of Rep. Nikki Budzinski’s Agricultural Advisory Council said is creating uncertainty for Illinois farmers."

Team — Nikki and her colleagues in the Committee on Agriculture are working hard to pass a new and updated Farm Bill and deliver millions of dollars to farmers across the country.
But with the rollercoaster of Republican leadership, progress in the House has ground to a halt, and the Farm Bill needs support to get it over the finish line.
