Over the weekend, I was on WBAL-TV to discuss tax season and how the Comptroller’s office is helping support businesses in the aftermath of the Key Bridge Collapse.

Last week, our agency announced that we’re extending the window for business tax payments through May 31st to help provide some relief during this incredibly challenging time.

On Tuesday, we announced that we’re waiving IFTA licensing and penalties to support truck drivers and motor carriers impacted by the bridge collapse.

You can watch my full interview with WBAL-TV here to learn more about how our agency has been responding. ([link removed])

I remain fully committed to working alongside state and federal partners to support all of those affected by this tragedy.

My best,

Brooke
