I'm READY!

As a nurse, I've traveled the world to care for patients in the remotest and poorest areas. I spent four years in Mexico City working with the poorest families. I've seen firsthand the devastating correlation between lack of education and poverty.

I've spent a decade in small classrooms within home school co-ops, teaching science, civics, and history to high school students whose lives were nearly destroyed by public schools not meeting their needs. I've witnessed the direct effect underperforming and unsafe schools have on young people in this state.

I KNOW we can do better for North Carolina families!
