Jim Hood’s lobbying reforms will go after every instance of taxpayers getting ripped off, every special insider deal, and every wasteful giveaway. That means:

Subjecting our legislature to the Public Records Act, which would require the disclosure of any and all communication between lobbyists and legislators
Banning campaign contributions while the legislature is in session
Banning gifts of any kind from lobbyists, like:
Fancy drinks and meals
Tickets to concerts
Tickets to sports games

Jim is running for governor to put a stop to shady, backroom deals. These reforms are the change we need to ensure that our government is working for us, not special interest groups.
