Normally, with the political contributing period coming to an end, I would be writing you asking for a donation to my campaign. But as you know, these are not normal times.
It is more important than ever that we serve each other. That is why, instead of a donation, I am asking that you give of yourself to help our community.
I have been heartened and encouraged by the way that Texans have stepped up and come together during this trying time. Few things are more important than community and I am proud to be part of ours.
Due to the situation, there is an increased need among the elderly and less fortunate. Meals on Wheels of North Central Texas and Meals on Wheels in Tarrant County are great ways to help others. If you want to volunteer to help deliver meals, please get in contact with them.
