Dear Friend,
Consonant (formerly Asylum Aid and Migrants Resource Centre) supports asylum seekers and those from the migrant community. We are currently facing a serious financial crisis. So serious that we are potentially facing complete closure in the next few months unless we raise some funds immediately.
Today we have launched a public appeal called #neighbourshelp.
As a crowdfunding site, should the appeal be unsuccessful, your gift can be returned to you.
We provide legal advice and representation to some of the most vulnerable people in our communities. We also deliver English language classes, health advice provision, careers advice and give advice on how to access financial and welfare benefits. If we close these services will disappear.
We are facing a financial crisis. Simply put, unless we can find some significant extra funds in the next three to four weeks we will have to shut. This will mean thousands of vulnerable people will no longer be able to access our services and many will have nowhere else to turn.
Migrants work hard to keep our society functioning - protecting us all.
Please support our appeal with your donation.
If you can’t give yourself, please help us spread the word by sharing our content on social media - #neighbourshelp (Shortened link https://bit.ly/2JsMO3H)
Thank you, we really appreciate your support.
