John,
Last week, I joined Andrea Mitchell on MSNBC to discuss the need to support Ukraine:

Former President Trump and his extreme allies in Congress are playing right into the hands of Vladimir Putin. There’s no doubt that Russia wants the American people to be more divided on this issue, on protecting our own democracy, and on the future of democracy around the world.
This year, accompanied by my colleagues from the House Intelligence Committee, I traveled to Kyiv to meet with Ukrainian President Zelenskyy and his administration. Our visit reaffirmed what we already understood: standing by our allies in their defense of freedom is unequivocally aligned with America’s national security interests.
Putin's aggression knows no bounds, and the United States must be resolute in countering threats to democracy, both within our borders and beyond.
Throughout my life in service, I have dedicated myself to serving and safeguarding our country, its principles, and the U.S. Constitution. As Governor of Virginia, I pledge to continue protecting our democracy, preserving our fundamental rights, and never wavering in the defense of our freedoms.
I hope that you’ll support my efforts as I serve now and as I continue this work as Governor of Virginia:
