Friends,
Ten years ago, President Obama signed the Affordable Care Act into law. And by the time this year ends, his legacy – and the access to affordable health care it provides – could all be stripped away, thanks to the Trump administration.
Let me be frank: It is absolutely wrong to try to take away the care that people depend on at any time. Health care is not a political tool – and in the midst of a public health emergency, this relentless sabotage is even more unconscionable.
Floridians – hardworking people who avoided bankruptcy or illness or worse thanks to the ACA – deserve leaders who have their backs, especially when times get tough. But President Trump has proven time and again that he'll put special interests over the well-being of the workers and families who make this country strong.
Millions of people depend on the protections that the ACA provides, but this administration is determined to dismantle them. We won't let them, friends. But I need you with me fighting back:
Will you answer a few questions about health care? It won't take long, and your support will give us the momentum we need to keep up this fight.

Right now, people in Florida and across this nation are at risk of losing jobs and work hours while doing their best to feed their families and take care of their neighbors. The last thing the builders, cleaners, truck drivers, warehouse workers and others should have to worry about is if they'll have health care when they need it most.
That's why Democrats are fighting every day to preserve the Affordable Care Act and pushing for emergency legislation that will help everyday Americans. I'm proud of the relief Democrats are fighting for in the House – and it's clearer than ever that our Democratic majority is essential if we want a government that puts people first.
But as I keep up the fight against President Trump and the GOP's attempts to dismantle our health care access, I still need 19 more resposes – including yours – by midnight tonight. Will you spare a quick moment and take my health care survey now?
