Hey John,
They say March comes in like a lamb and leaves like a lion. And that was CERTAINLY true for our campaign!
It was a bit quiet on the fundraising front without much news at the start of the month. But we ended by CRUSHING our grassroots fundraising goal (thank you to everyone who pitched in!) AND celebrating the opening of our official campaign headquarters.
Here are a few photos I just had to share from our office warming party. It was a full house…
… Newly re-elected Bucks County Commissioner Bob Harvie spoke…
… And I enjoyed speaking with so many familiar and new faces!
There's so much unglamorous work on a campaign – call time to ask for money, approving endless streams of content, miles and miles on the road traveling the district. Events like our office warming refill my cup because they always remind me what the grind is really about: people.
I got into this race because I saw too many people I care about under attack: Women, LGBTQ+ kids, teachers, seniors who rely on social security, families like mine just struggling to stay above the poverty line. And our congressman was doing nothing about it.
In the Army, when my people were under attack from enemy fire, I would race to my Apache helicopter and fly off to protect them. As a citizen, I'm doing the same thing – but instead of jumping into a cockpit, I jumped into this race.
I'm beyond grateful to have you in this fight with me as my co-pilot,
Ashley 🚁
P.S. Didn't have a chance to pitch in before end-of-quarter? I still need your help! Our primary election is on April 23rd – which means our team will be out in the field instead of at HQ fundraising. We need grassroots support to keep us on track. Pitch in $10 or more now to help.
