Pickin' rock is the dreaded childhood farm chore of tossing rock after rock from your field into the bed of a truck to get the ground ready for planting. And there are always more rocks.
It was a huge pain, but it taught me persistence and the value of hard work. Lessons I still carry with me to this day.
Look, this race will be the toughest fight of my life. Just like pickin' rock, there will always be another attack to overcome or another pundit to prove wrong. But the farm also taught me that teamwork can make all the difference.
