Team,
March was a busy month for our campaign! Amanda’s been working tirelessly in the legislature and in our communities, supporting Democrats up and down the ballot and talking about what’s at stake in this year’s election.
Here’s some of the recent press covering Amanda’s work:
Amanda’s been speaking out about the devastating repercussions a Supreme Court case regarding mifepristone could have for reproductive rights around the country. Read more about her response to the case here.
Alongside her colleague Senator Jimmy Dillon, Amanda introduced new legislation to protect Pennsylvania renters from exorbitant price hikes and to strengthen tenant protections. Read about the legislation’s importance here.
Reflecting on Women’s History Month and her own experience as a woman in public service, Amanda penned a letter to the editor for the Philadelphia Inquirer. You can read the full op-ed here.
Attempts to create new obstacles to the ballot box aren’t going unchecked on Amanda’s watch. She’s fighting back against disinformation and pushing for reforms that cut red tape and increase fairness in our elections. More about Amanda’s work on voting rights is covered here.
Across the board, Amanda steps up to fight for Pennsylvanians even when the work isn’t easy. That’s exactly why we’re working to keep her fighting for us in the PA Senate, and we’re grateful to have you standing with us!
Thanks for your support in making March a success,
Team Amanda
