Donald Trump is campaigning in Grand Rapids as we speak. Trump is calling this his "Biden Border Bloodbath" stop after killing a bipartisan border deal that would have added 1,500 agents to the Southern border. It’s clear that Trump is coming to town with nothing more than empty promises & political theater.
He wants to fan the flames of division at a time when we need unity & working together more than ever.
His presence in our district is not just a reminder of his divisive rhetoric but a clear signal of the importance of West Michigan in November. Because here’s the thing–Trump won Michigan in 2016. And he knows he can win again if we’re not fighting back.
