ICYMI — Two weeks ago today, we were supposed to host our monthly meeting with Israeli Consul General Livia Link-Raviv. It's safe to say things didn't go as we were hoping or expecting. ([link removed])
On the day of our meeting, pro-Hamas supporters called our intended venue, threatening to protest, inundated their social media with negative comments, and even threatened to burn down the building.
Yes — you read that right. These pro-Hamas supporters threatened to burn down buildings because they're committed to shutting down all conversations that are pro-Israel, no matter the costs. ([link removed])
We decided to reschedule the event for the safety of our members and guests. We promised not to bow down to these bullies, and we're following through on that promise. But we need your help.
We're in the process of replanning this event, but unlike most of our events, we need to raise enough funds to hire law enforcement, book a secure venue, and more.
