John -
Polluters like ExxonMobil and Shell are the real culprits behind climate
change.
Government leaders need to wake up and see how fossil fuels are destroying
our planet, communities' livelihoods and land. That is why for Earth Month
we're targeting world leaders to stop funding fossil fuels and start
funding renewables.
It's up to us to make it happen:

Your support will help our movement escalate climate campaigns around the
world targeting the fossil fuel industry and calling on world leaders to
make polluters pay for their destruction and fully fund the energy
transition we urgently need.
For Earth Month, John, we're
exposing the fossil fuel industry's connection to global plastic
production.
The connection between fossil fuels and plastic production is
staggering:^1
* The world's top 7 plastic producing companies by volume are all fossil
fuel companies.
* 99 percent of single use plastics are made from fossil fuels.
* In addition to being incredibly detrimental to the environment,
microplastics and other fossil fuel by-products are also extremely
dangerous to human health.
For more than a decade our climate movement has been exposing the
atrocities behind the fossil fuel industry. We are pushing government
leaders to take bold climate action by stopping pipeline projects and
investing in real climate solutions.
And, [ [link removed] ]with your support before Earth Month
ends, we are winning the climate fights that "can't be won."
Thank you for playing your part this Earth Month. Stay tuned for more ways
to get involved and help expose the fossil fuel industry.
In solidarity,
May Boeve
