We can't see the future, but we can vote ABSENTEE.
Deadline is TODAY to request your ballot!

Let's face it. We don't know what the future holds for Wisconsin or the nation. What we DO know, however, is that right now, today, we can secure our vote for the April 7 election. That's why we're encouraging you to take action now to make sure your vote, your voice in this election, is safe and sound at your municipal clerk's office by the end of the day on Tuesday, April 7 - THAT'S ONLY 5 DAYS AWAY!

But you must act QUICKLY!

There is literally no time to waste.

The deadline to request an absentee ballot is TODAY, April 2. To request an absentee ballot, CLICK HERE.

Governor Evers has not postponed the April 7 election. At this time, municipalities in Wisconsin offer early in-person voting; but there is no guarantee that this will be the case going forward--and even if early in-person voting continues, it will definitely be done by the close of business this Friday, April 3. To find details for your early voting polling location, click HERE. You will need to call your municipal clerk to find out what days and hours early in-person voting is available.

We can't emphasize it enough—early in-person or absentee ballot voting is the best way to make sure your vote counts.

Not registered to vote?  The deadline to register online or by mail has passed, but don't let this stop you! You can still register to vote, but you will have to do so in-person at your polling place.

We urge you to create a plan to vote that best accommodates your individual situation QUICKLY while there is still time to request your absentee ballot. Remember, TODAY is the last day you can request your absentee ballot. After today, only early in-person voting (which is over this Friday, April 3) or going to your polling place on the day of the election, April 7, next Tuesday, will be offered.

President Trump and
Justice Daniel Kelly
are counting on your vote!

Idaho Enacts Law To Save Women's Sports

This past Monday, Idaho became the first state to enact a Save Women’s Sports bill into law. The bill, preserves a level playing field for female athletes by ensuring that biological males are not permitted to play on female teams. Over the past week, Idaho Governor Brad Little faced enormous pressure from LGBT activists, big business and others to veto the bill. But he stood firm and signed the bill into law. Governor Little also signed a bill that makes it illegal for a transgendered person to change his or her sex as indicated on a birth certificate.

"Bravo to this governor who has done what’s right even in the midst of fierce opposition," says WFA president, Julaine Appling, "The media claims the women’s sports bill is anti-transgender, but it’s actually pro-women. Women shouldn’t lose opportunities in women’s athletics because men claiming to be women beat them out. On the other bill, the governor is protecting and acknowledging an important scientific reality."

GAMBLING: What does it cost us?

It’s important to understand problem gambling isn’t just a problem for the individual with the addiction or just for his or her family. Problem gambling has a distinct social or public cost as well. For example, because problem gamblers often commit crimes to feed their habit, increased stress is put on the legal and court system, all funded by the state’s taxpayers. In addition, compulsive gamblers are also less likely to pay their taxes, again causing other taxpayers to bear their share.

The social costs of problem gambling go far beyond these examples. With over 333,000 problem gamblers in our state, the public costs are significant. Help for problem gamblers really begins in the home, with loving family members recognizing the signs and getting help. Click HERE for helpful information.

Boy Scouts File Bankruptcy

In February the Boy Scouts of America filed for bankruptcy largely because of over three hundred lawsuits filed by men who say they were sexually abused as Scouts. This is just the latest sad news about a once-very-reputable organization. In recent years the Scouts have allowed men who say they are homosexuals to be leaders and have also opened their membership to girls who claim they are boys. In the wake of all this, several Christian alternatives, like Trail Life USA, are either forming or are growing in popularity as parents seek options for their boys.

Julaine Appling, WFA president, says, "What’s happened to both the Boy Scouts and the Girl Scouts is the result of weak leadership caving to cultural pressure. I’m grateful for organizations like Trail Life USA and American Heritage Girls that are committed to Christian leadership and programming and adhere to the moral standards God has given us for our good. Parents have some options today, and we urge them to explore them."
