Despite Donald Trump facing federal criminal charges that he mishandled classified documents, U.S. intelligence agencies plan to provide him intelligence briefings as the Republican nominee.
During his time in the White House, he was accused of revealing secret information and was indicted on federal criminal charges for retaining multiple classified documents at his estate in Florida.
“No prior presidential candidate has ever been under indictment for compromising classified information. That alone is reason to withhold intelligence briefings. There is no legitimate argument that denying the briefings would impair Trump’s campaign — he doesn’t understand what they would brief anyway,” Trump’s former national security adviser, John Bolton, said.

It has been proven time and time again that Donald Trump cannot be trusted with sensitive information. His team has even been thinking of bringing Paul Manafort back to help with re-election. Manafort famously served two years in prison for bank and tax fraud, illegal foreign lobbying, and witness tampering conspiracies before being released in 2020.
Sensitive national security information does not belong in the hands of Donald Trump. He and his team cannot be trusted.
