John, the Florida Supreme Court decisions today are causing severe whiplash for millions of women in Florida and the south:
First, the court upheld an initiative to put protections for reproductive rights on the ballot this year.
But not all news is good – on the other hand, the court is allowing a d evastating dangerous law to go into effect in 30 days banning abortions before most women even know that they are pregnant.
In light of these mixed decisions, I remain committed to being a strong voice for our right to make our own healthcare decisions, but I'm also ready to uplift other folks who care about this issue just as much as I do – like Congresswoman Debbie Mucarsel-Powell, who is running for U.S. Senate against Rick Scott!
John, Debbie and I need your help to show our anti-choice GOP opponents the strength of our pro-choice and people-powered movements. Will you support us by splitting your donation between our campaigns today? [[link removed]]

John, while not all decisions worked out in our favor, it is incredibly encouraging to see that our state's highest court will leave such an important decision regarding the future of access to reproductive freedom up to the people.
We already knew that 2024 was going to be an important year for this issue, but the court's decision makes one thing even clearer: it is essential that we elect pro-choice candidates to our elected offices, like myself and Debbie Mucarsel-Powell.
We've already spent a lot of time in our careers fighting for access to reproductive freedom, but that fight can only continue with a strong coalition of grassroots supporters standing behind our efforts to represent our communities in DC.
This is the perfect time to show your early support and bring us one step closer to electing more pro-choice voices to Washington. John, will you split a donation between Debbie and myself today? [[link removed]]
