Will Chuck Schumer actually hold the impeachment trial for Alejandro Mayorkas??
We don’t believe that is his intention. Here’s what’s happening, and what we need to do.
The House announced that they will send the two impeachment charges to the Senate on April 10th. Chuck Schumer, the Majority Leader in the Senate, then “scheduled the impeachment trial” for April 10th.
However, each senator must be sworn in as jurors before anything can happen. Once they are sworn in, the Democrats can make a motion to table the charges, to move them to a committee (where they would likely die), or actually hold a trial on the Senate floor.
Nobody believes that Schumer will actually allow a trial to happen on the senate floor. It’s much more likely that he will try to table the charges completely or move them to a committee to disappear forever.

demand a real trial on the senate floor be held.

The evidence against Mayorkas is overwhelming and every senator has the obligation to hear that evidence. The American people deserve the opportunity to hold Mayorkas accountable for his dereliction of duty regarding the border.
Don’t let Schumer get away with his plan to kill the Mayorkas impeachment charges!
