On April 1, 2024, Texas Family Care Network (TFCN) moved to Stage II of Community-Based Care (CBC) in Region 5, which is composed of 15 counties in the Deep East community area. This transition occurred thanks to the collaboration of the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) and TFCN, and with the support of the community.
Stage II expands the current continuum of services to include services for families and to increase permanency outcomes for children. In Stage II, TFCN will provide case management, kinship, and reunification services in its community. Texas Family Care Network, a division of Pressley Ridge, is a community collaboration that strives to provide transformational change to the child protection system in the Deep East community area.
