Access to abortion care will be on the ballot in November. Today’s ruling affirms that the Amendment 4 language meets the criteria to go before voters in November. Florida voters can now vote to reclaim their freedom from government interference. This crucial decision will profoundly impact the lives of women across our state because we all deserve access to abortion care.
In November, I know that the voters of Florida will affirm our belief that abortion is healthcare and that the government should not be involved in personal healthcare decisions. When this ballot initiative passes, we will need pro-choice women in the legislature to implement this critical ballot initiative.
