Dear John,

Last Thursday, we completed our three day, 11 stop Freedom Fighters Tour! I barnstormed across the Fifth District with my friends and courageous conservative warriors Andy Biggs, Dan Bishop, Andrew Clyde, Matt Gaetz, Andy Harris, Mark Meadows and Chip Roy.

Nearly 1,000 people showed up all across the district to show their support for the work we have been leading on in Washington; including the fight to secure our borders, cut wasteful spending, balance the budget, take education away from the bureaucrats and return it to the parents, and reform the rules of the House so that it will again function as the people's House the way Jefferson intended.

We were able to not only share our vision for the future but to hear concerns directly from voters like you all across the district. We know that with nearly $35 trillion in debt, the Biden border invasion, and a relentless woke indoctrination campaign by the left, we cannot afford to wait even one more day to fight to save our country.

Unfortunately, the Swamp is trying to strike back against me. I have a big target on my back because I am the Chairman of the House Freedom Caucus. The special interests in Washington and the big money elites from California know that I am not afraid to call out members of my own party when they are not doing what we promised the American people when they gave Republicans the majority.

Former Speaker Kevin McCarthy is on a revenge tour (after he quit on the American people and left the House) because I held him accountable for his actions. He is raising millions of dollars to try and defeat me and other courageous conservatives by recruiting candidates who will do what the Swamp tells them to do NOT what the people want them to do.

After lying for months saying that McCarthy had nothing to do with his campaign, my opponent finally admitted to CNN that he would have continued to support McCarthy for Speaker even after he broke his word to return to regular order, pass single subject bills, bring a balanced budget amendment to the floor and stand up to Biden and Schumer on spending.

My opponent even stated that he had met with McCarthy to "get filled in on what goes on in Congress."

After running for State Senate just this past fall as a "Youngkin Republican," he then launched his campaign against me a few days later, before his election was certified or even being sworn in, calling himself a "MAGA Republican."

FINALLY he has admitted what we knew all along. He is a McCarthy Republican.

We must continue to use every tool at our disposal to restore our Republic and resist the Swamp and their handpicked candidates. We cannot, and we will not, allow former Speaker Kevin McCarthy, or anyone else for that matter, to decide who represents the Fifth District of Virginia.

Now is not the time to shrink from the fight. We cannot afford to elect a candidate who will do whatever the Swamp wants just to climb the next rung on the political ladder. We must unite with President Trump and take down the Swamp once and for all.
