Hi. my name is Erin Taylor, and I am the Campaigns and Field senior vice president at The Climate Reality Project. 

Over the years, I have witnessed the effects of global warming, particularly the direct impact on the Arctic, leading to extreme southern cold snaps like the one that devastated my home state of Texas a few years ago, resulting in at least 246 fatalities and up to $129 billion in economic damage.
