Property Owner Vegetation Maintenance - Owner Will Maintain Program
Kitsap County Public Works manages vegetation in road rights?of-way to protect road surfaces, keep roads safe, and to preserve the natural beauty of the environment. We maintain vegetation using a variety of controls including mechanical, cultural, biological, and chemical. The vegetation management program contains a provision that allows residents to maintain rights-of-way adjacent to their property.
Residents must submit an ?Owner Will Maintain? form [ [link removed] ] and install a County-provided sign and post. Residents agree to ensure that vegetation does not limit sight distances for motorists. All designated noxious weeds must also be removed.
