Today, we have a unique opportunity to make a significant change through Resolution 0095-2024.

What is Resolution 0095-2024?

Introduced by Councilwoman Shahana Hanif, Resolution 0095-2024 is a beacon of hope for the future of education in New York City. It calls for the New York City Department of Education to collaborate with faith-based organizations to develop a curriculum focusing on religious diversity across all grades. Additionally, it aims to provide professional development for educators on religious diversity, ensure accurate hate crime reporting, and establish supportive measures against bullying based on religious practices.
