As we speak, state Senate President Pro Tem Toni Atkins is leading a team to craft less-divisive housing bills. She didn’t invite her protégé, Wiener! Yet now we hear that Atkins’ team is talking upzoning again!
Peter Calthorpe sees a different future, in which housing replaces dead storefronts and mixes into commercial zones. In which neighborhoods AREN’T killed.

2) ACT NOW against Wiener’s 2020 “Wrecking Bills” that slyly piecemeal SB 50 back into existence!
Community-blaming bills for which Wiener is infamous must be killed in this year of economic hardship and threats to our middle-class and working-class.
