For more than 130 years, the Sierra Club has gathered millions of activists and volunteers to fight for the places, people, and planet we all love. We envision a better world with safe communities, clean air and water, a stable climate, more family-sustaining jobs, and a direct connection to nature that's accessible to everyone.

At the Sierra Club, every month is Earth Month. But April offers all of us a unique opportunity for deeper engagement and collective action.

In the last few years, together we've:

✊🏾 Demanded action on climate and pushed the Biden administration to halt the expansion of dangerous liquified natural gas (LNG) exports.
🏞️ Protected national parks and public lands such as the Grand Canyon and the Arctic Refuge.
🥾 Inspired thousands of people to connect with nature and protect the spaces they hold dear by hosting local outings.
☀️ Passed the largest-ever climate legislation, the Inflation Reduction Act, bringing clean energy and good jobs to our communities. And so much more. We've accomplished a lot, but we know how far there is to go.

Earth Day on April 22 offers a unique opportunity to get more involved in protecting our planet for today and future generations. Throughout the month, we'll share ways to get involved from attending local events and activities for kids to calling your Members of Congress about climate action.
