Governor Sanders Celebrates Region's Rebound, Rebuilding

Following Last Year's Tornado


Almost a year after tornadoes devastated parts of Central and Eastern Arkansas, Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders recalls the destruction of last year's tornado and the rebounding and rebuilding by local communities.


"I don't think it's lost on anyone that the one-year anniversary of last year's tornadoes falls on Easter Sunday," Gov. Sanders said. "The joy of Easter seems at odds with the tragedy of that day. But beneath the surface we are also here to mark a similar triumph; one of rebuilding, rebirth and resurrection."

The contrast in leadership couldn’t be clearer, while Joe Biden brought out his celebrity friends at a high-dollar fundraiser with Obama and Clinton, President Donald Trump attended the wake of a slain NYPD officer.

Yesterday, four living presidents were in New York City. Only one, President Trump, attended a wake for a fallen police officer. The other three attended a fundraising event with Stephen Colbert and Lizzo. American families deserve a leader who supports law enforcement and safety, and that’s why President Donald J.
