NEWS FROM POWER TO DECIDE

New Videos Explain Opill

Power to Decide CEO, Dr. Raegan, discusses the facts ([link removed]) about the first over-the-counter birth control pill, Opill. In two new videos, Dr. Raegan discusses how Opill works, what makes it different from other birth control pills, and why over-the-counter access to birth control matters.

In two more videos, she provides essential information on pregnancy, shedding light on crucial aspects of reproductive biology amidst a landscape often clouded by misinformation.

Opill is now available for purchase online at Opill’s website and Amazon.com, as well as in-person at some drugstores, convenience stores, and grocery stores. A Cost Assistance Program ([link removed]) from Opill’s manufacturer is now available for uninsured individuals living at or below 200% of the federal poverty level.

Be An Advocate

Are you interested in advancing contraceptive access in your community? The fact sheets, maps, research articles, videos, policy briefs, and other documents that make up our digital toolkit ([link removed]) provide clarity about contraceptive access on a national and state-by-state level, and policy steps that states can take to improve access.

Starting the Conversation About Pregnancy Desire

One Key Question^® (OKQ) is a pregnancy desire screening tool that research shows dramatically increases patient satisfaction ([link removed]) . Available online, the OKQ approach is patient-centered and focuses on equally supporting those who want to get pregnant, those who do not, and those who are ambivalent or unsure. Providers can continue the conversation with our Preconception and Contraception Pathways to Care Training, which takes that conversation one step further by teaching providers how to offer preconception and contraception counseling and care in a personalized, non-judgmental, and unbiased way. Both OKQ and Pathways to Care are available as a stand-alone training. Begin your training journey today ([link removed]) !
