I want to say thank you for putting up with all of our emails over the last few weeks ahead of our FEC deadline. I am so thankful for everyone who heeded the call and chipped in.

Your involvement means a lot to me personally, but also to the success of our campaign. Winning an open Senate seat in a notorious swing state won’t be easy, but here's the thing: Nothing. Worth. Doing. Ever. Is.

I know you heard from our campaign A LOT before yesterday's important FEC deadline. And that is because it is contributions from people like you that make this campaign possible. I'm rejecting all corporate PAC money — so it really will come down to people like you funding this campaign.

Soon, we will file our official FEC report where we are going to announce how much money we've raised as well as how many contributions our campaign has received. I hope the numbers we report will make you proud to be a part of this grassroots team. Because there is only one way we are going to have the resources to defend this Senate seat, and that is from lots of people contributing what they can.

As the first FEC fundraising deadline of 2024, the March deadline was a very big moment for our campaign. As you know, the Michigan Senate race is going to be one of the most competitive in the entire country. There are four credible candidates running on the Republican side, and we need to be ready to face any one of them in November. And once our fundraising numbers become public, both our allies and our opponents are going to look at them to determine whether we are building the kind of campaign that can hold onto this Senate seat for Democrats.

Once again, I am extremely thankful that you are a part of this team. With Donald Trump coming to our state tomorrow, this show of strength and grassroots power is ever more important. Republicans have put a target on Michigan’s open Senate seat, but together, we can send the message about where Michiganders stand.
