Individual vs. Bureaucratic Spending

How did trash cans in San Francisco cost taxpayers $20,000 a piece? Well, the edicts of politicians, combined with the creativity of their favored consultants, bolstered by voters unaware of the prices involved, spawned one of the millions of examples of government spending gone awry.

The creed of progressive ideology is that bureaucrats guided by experts can better control your life than you can. In the last episode of The Costs of the Progressives, we look at the literal costs of this hubris.
