We fell short.

ACLU Supporter – this is not an email we hoped to send.

But it is nevertheless a call to action for you and all ACLU supporters.

We did not raise the $250,000 we needed before our fiscal year ended at 11:59 pm last night, which means we are beginning the new fiscal year with a fundraising gap.

That all may sound like just financial double talk, but that gap puts our urgent work to fight voter suppression ahead of the 2024 election, to end abortion bans, to protect free speech, and so much more at risk.

In this moment, our mission is simply too far-reaching, too bold, and too crucial to start the new fiscal year with a shortfall. We urgently need our most dedicated supporters to rush a gift to help us make up the gap:

Please, donate $35 or whatever you can right now so we have the funds necessary to fight for the rights of every person nationwide. <[link removed]>

DONATE NOW <[link removed]>

Donate right away and your gift will still be matched dollar-for-dollar. <[link removed]>

Thank you for helping us start the fiscal year off on the strongest footing possible.
