Friends and Comrades- Thank you everyone who came to our General Meeting yesterday. We had the opportunity to hear from candidates seeking endorsements from our chapter in the upcoming Democratic primaries in June. We had a thoughtful and respectful debate after their presentations and ultimately voted to endorse two candidates:

We are excited to announce our endorsements of Veronica Krupnick for State Senate District 24 and Adam Fulton Johnson for Santa Fe County Commission District 4. With the June primary just about 2 months away, there will be many opportunities for our chapter to support both these candidates in their primary races. For now, you can read up on their campaigns on their websites and, should you choose to, donate to their campaigns.

Free Screening of Israelism!

Join us Tuesday, April 9, at the La Farge Library(1730 Llano St.) Community Room for a free showing of the film Israelism.?

?

According to the film's website, "Israelism uniquely explores how Jewish attitudes towards Israel are changing dramatically, with massive consequences for the region and Judaism itself." You can read more about it at this website.??

Honoring Trans Visibility

Our General Meeting also saw us honor #transdayofvisibility. As a chapter, we stand in solidarity with the trans community. Attacks on the bodily autonomy and freedoms of any group are a threat to the entire working class. Please reach out and join our Trans Rights and Bodily Autonomy Working Group if you are interested in helping the fight for trans rights in New Mexico!

DSA depends on support from ordinary members, rather than corporate funding or grants. As we ramp up our campaigns to take on the millionaire and billionaire class in New Mexico, any donations you can provide will go a long way.
