Apply for a Dual Training Grant through April 22
Dual-training programs through Minnesota Dual-Training Pipeline [ [link removed] ] provide structured on-the-job training and related instruction to help employees succeed in their chosen career and help employers meet their workforce needs.
Dual Training Grants are available from the Minnesota Office of Higher Education to help build educational solutions between employers and related instruction training providers across Minnesota. Employers or organizations of employers may apply for grants to reimburse expenses related to instruction toward attaining an industry-recognized degree, certificate or credential for their employees. 2024 Spring Seminar offered in April and May
The 2024 Construction Codes and Licensing Division's Spring Seminar [ [link removed] ] will focus on the Minnesota Residential Code and municipal reporting. The in-person seminar is offered at six locations throughout Minnesota and includes seven continuing education credits for building officials.

MNOSHA fatality, serious-injury investigation summaries online
Each month, Minnesota OSHA (MNOSHA) Compliance publishes current, updated summaries of its fatality investigations and serious-injury investigations.
For the federal-fiscal-year that began Oct. 1, 2023, MNOSHA has investigated 13 fatalities through March 20.
The information provided about each investigation is:? the inspection number, date of incident and worksite city; the type of business and number of employees; a description of the event; and the outcome of the MNOSHA Compliance investigation.
