Today, the New York Daily News published my Op-ed on how the State and City could and should take action now to close illegal cannabis shops that - like a weed - have sprung up on virtually every corner in New York.

It's been three years and there have been plenty of finger pointing, press conferences, and speeches, but no actual solutions.

I am not suggesting a demonstration of extraordinary government leadership or vision, or that government should fix everything, all that is needed is the political will and a modicum of competence. As I say in the piece, this is not rocket science. It’s Government 101.
